Sevenoaks District Scouts

Scouts and Explorers Archery Badge

5th - 22nd July 2018

Scouts and Explorers Archery Badge

Coached archery sessions for Scouts and Explorers from Level 1 GB Archery trainee Scout leaders. Each session is limited to 12 scouts due to the need for individual coaching

Scouts will be coached in advanced archery techniques, with 1 archery coach to each 4 young people.

These sessions are aimed at improving your skills over a period of 3 weeks and achieving your Scout Master at Arms badge or Explorer Physical Recreation Badge or you can start archery as a regular activity for a DoE skill – if enough interest more sessions will be set up following these so you can continue to cover 3 months of activity.

To gain either badge a minimum of 6 hours worth of sessions will need to be attended plus a competition (scouts must attend 1 competition and explorers 2) on either the 20th (19:30pm) or 22nd July (3pm). You are welcome to book onto either Thursday Sessions or Sunday Sessions.
