Chief Scout Gold Awards
9th June 2007

Three Sevenoaks Scouts visited the St. Georges Centre in Chatham over the weekend to receive their Chief Scout Gold award - the highest award in the Scout section. A huge acheivement!
Awards were presented by County Commissioner, Kelvin Holford and UK Adviser (Scouts) Alasdair McBay. The Ceremony celebrated the achievement of all the young people in gaining the award, but also looked forward to the next challenges available to them leading ultimately to the Queen Scout Award. Alasdair reminded the Scouts that they should use their skills learnt through Scouting and the Promise made to 'Help other people' in making the world a better place.
